If you have any type of wood floor that is in need of renovation or repair we can undertake any size of floor for you. These include School floors, Sports Halls, Village Halls, Community Centres, Restaurants, etc. We can also replace the court markings on these floors. (The photo's to the right and below are of a school hall, wood block floor, and yes, they are both of the same floor, as you can see there is quite a fantastic transformation, much to the delight of the staff, pupils and parents.)
The floor after being sanded, varnished and new badminton court markings being applied.
This floor is a Granwood Sports hall in a police headquaters the floor was sanded off completely and then varnished and the lines applied between coats of varnish.
Stone Floors
When it comes to stone floors that require reburishment, complete renovation or a totally new floor to be laid, South Western Flooring can undertake this for you.
The Granite entrance hall on this photograph has been finished to a natural shine by way of diamond grinding, no seal is used in this process. When the staff entered the building after renovation of this floor they though that the old granite tiles had been lifted and replace by new ones. It show's that companies do not need to go to the costly expense of replacing a tired and worn floor, renovation is possible in most cases.
This is a marble entrance lobby that has been renovated to create a high gloss finish.
This is a Terrazzo floor in a mini supermarket on which we have made repairs, by way of replacing tiles, filling holes and cracks. South Western Flooring then ground the floor surface and applied a seal to completely revive the floor.
This is part of the regrinding progress being carried out on a large marble floor in a church.
The floor is finished to a high shine. So much so you can see the reflection of the stained glass window on the floor.
This Terrazzo tile floor is being referbished
Tiles in a church
After years of abuse the tiles look like they are beyond renovation but ....
After much hard work they can be renovated and can again look as they were intended to.
Stunning!
Renovation of stair treads - removal of anti slip matting and application of anti-slip strips
These marble stairs in the Bristol Council House were covered in an anti-slip matting which was well past its prime. It was breaking up and was causing a problem.
The matting was removed as in this picture. Then the treads were renovated.
When finished the stairs look fantastic. The anti-slip strips have been applied. The stairs are now safe.
