Q: One visitor asked, "Is it possible to polyurethane laminate wood flooring to give it a shine and protect it from scratches?"

A: Most laminates are not wood. I would say a definite no to trying to apply a coat of polyurethane. Your best bet would be to contact the manufacturer though.
